Lobster Elite ball machines have revolutionized the design, portability and performance of portable tennis ball machines.
The new Elite Freedom features 150-ball capacity and a 2-4 hour battery, allowing extended play on the court. The oversized wheels and ergonomic design allow for easy transport with a full hopper, and great portability with the hopper inverted and handle removed. It offers full corner-to-corner random oscillation, manual 0-50 degree elevation, adjustable feed rate from 2-10 seconds, and speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.
The Elite One offers all the features of the Elite Freedom, along with variable topspin and backspin, electronic 0-60 degree elevation, and speeds of up to 80 miles per hour. It also features a heavy-duty battery which provides 4-8 hours of court time.
The Elite Two offers all the above features, plus vertical oscillation, giving you short and deep shots in a random pattern. Simulate match play by combining both vertical and horizontal oscillation functions to throw balls throughout the entire court left, right, short and deep.
The Elite Three adds a narrow and wide, two-line drill feature. Simulate match play with horizontal and vertical oscillation together with two versatile, pre-programmed options for narrow and wide forehand and backhand sweeping shots. Combine vertical and two-line oscillation to adjust the depth of your two-line drill.
The two-function Remote for the above machines controls both feed and sweep. This option may be installed by the owner after purchase, or individuals may ship their machine to Lobster for a factory authorized upgrade.
The new Elite Grandslam Four adds an extensive 3-Line drill function, with three versatile positional settings - narrow, medium, and wide. You can practice forehand and backhand ground strokes or use it to warm up your shots.
It is also equipped with three pre-programmed six shot drills that simulate the most popular styles of play - grinder, all courter, and power baseliner. These drills mix up speed, trajectory, and spin to simulate play against these opponents. With the press of a button, you can now practice against the playing style of your choice.
The Grinder Drill
The Grinder tries to wear down his opponents physically and mentally, waiting for the other player to make a crucial mistake. This player hits high, loopy, moderate spin shots that will challenge all players. This is a six ball drill that utilizes the back court with different types of spin.
Power Baseliner Drill
The Power Baseliner is a player who is explosive in their shot selection, playing with pace and aggression and minimal spin. This player exhibits an attacking style, known as “first strike” tennis. This is a six ball drill that utilizes full back court with little spin and more ball speed.
All-Courter Drill
The All-Courter is a player that focuses their game on tactical savvy. They can compete well from the baseline and will come to the net to finish points. When playing this type of player, expect a great deal of shot variety. This is a six ball drill that utilizes both full back court and front court with some top spin and less ball speed.
The Grandslam IV is also equipped with a touch control panel and optional wireless remote. The Lexan control panel features touch-buttons and a digital LCD screen which displays menu selections and settings. The optional 15-function wireless remote allows adjustment of most functions of the machine, including play/pause, oscillation sweep, fully random, 3-line, speed, feed, spin, and more.
These machines all come with the Basic Charger, which takes 10-12 hours to charge the battery. The optional Fast Charger gets the machine ready for use in 3-9 hours. This charger can be purchased and added at any time.
