The Easy Catch Racquet is designed to develop focus and ball control for beginning players since it guides these newcomers to focus on the point of contact between the racquet face and the ball. It also helps them learn how to move and position themselves to the ball. While all players make slight adjustments to hit various shots, the basic motions for your forehands, backhands, and volleys should be the same. It is your movement and position relative to the ball that handles the vast majority of adjustments you need to make for each shot. Basically, if you swing at normal speed and can consistently catch the ball in the Easy Catch Racquet net, chances are your positioning and balance are excellent.
The Easy Catch Racquet helps players swing freely and test their ability to line up the ball. The goal is to simply catch the ball in the 6" x 8" center net. We recommend that players start slowly at first and then speed up to a normal swing speed. As players improve, we also suggest graduating to the more challenging Contact Doctor training aid that has a smaller contact net. Use with any unstrung racquet, including junior racquets. Racquet not included. Also great for picking up balls. Holds up to 15 balls.
